NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

Public Hearing on 2026 – 2027 Township Budget and Fire Protection Budget and General Appropriations Act

The Marathon Township Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing on the proposed township budget and fire protection budget for fiscal year 2026-2027 at the township hall offices, 4575 Pine Street, in the Village of Columbiaville, Michigan on Wednesday March 25, 2026 at 6:00pm. The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be subject to this hearing.

Copies of the proposed budget will be available for public inspection at the offices of Marathon Township, after March 23rd, during regular business hours.

Finally, if you require handicap accommodations or auxiliary services, please make those arrangements by contacting the Township Clerk at 810-793-2002 no later than March 23, 2026.
